Yep, Eli can no longer use just one hand to show his age. He's been anticipating the excitement of turning six for the past few months now. The day has finally arrived. My lil' tax baby had a birthday today.

Being able to experience having a lil' boy in the house is one of my favorite things. I love hearing my in laws tell me how much Eli reminds them of Jamie when he was younger. I feel that somehow I get experience a piece of my husband's childhood we well.

A lil' bit about Eli's world...

Green and camo are his favorite colors. Chances are if you see Eli he's wearing mostly green or some camo.

Uno all the time! It's his favorite game. He wakes up ready to play uno everyday. When you see that sly smile, you know he has a draw four card.

His lil' league baseball team with a few of his best buddies Isaiah and Kelian.

One of his favorite books at the moment, The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.

His favorite Bible verse This is the day that the Lord has made;let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Eli is like his mama, he loves fruit. Strawberries, grapes, apples, and pears are his favorites.

His favorite place to eat Mr. Gatti's Pizza Place. The cheese pizza and air hockey are his two favorite things there.

Purdue!!! Eli can't help but be like his Popo Keith and "Boiler Up" One of his request for his birthday was a Purdue sweatshirt. I'll give you one guess who got that for him.

Eli is crazy over his Pa. He loves to spend Tuesday and Thursday at Nanny and Pa's. He chops wood for Pa, goes on Gator rides, nature hikes, and of course, plays lots of Uno!

Eli always seems to have a dirty face. He just can't seem to keep it clean. I think that's one thing about him that I'll always remember ...that round lil' dirty face that I just can't stop kissing.

Finally, he's a tree climber and dirt lover.
