Rainbow Hemp Random Patchwork Skirt

A few weeks ago Ella requested a "rainbow skirt", so she inspired me to create more colorful skirts. I don't often stray away from my brown and green hues, but this lil' skirt is just so rare and beautiful I'm glad I listened to my lil' 3 year old fashinista. It also worked out perfectly because I have tons of scrap fabric left over, so this stunning lil' skirt was created. This entire skirt is hemp and all hand dyed by me, of course.

There are 13 different panels all topstitched in a coordinating turqoiuse color. Then every single piece of patchwork is also topstitched in the same turquoise thread to give it added dimension. This obviously takes a very long time, but once you see it you'll know why I took the extra time to topstitch. I nice stretchly elastic for your independent princess and supa sweet ruffle at the bottom for your girly girl.
