Funky Red Lil' Mama Skirt

Oooo this lil' skirt is made up of the most stunning colors.

I just love the brown rust (almost cranberry) color. I used a brown rust/bronze immersion dye bath. There are also a solid bronze, and camel panel in here as well. The supa sweet camel ruffle at the bottom. I found the perfect flannel scrap to applique these lil' funky flowers. There is just a hint of the red color in these applique. The skirt is mostly hemp/tencel but a few of the panels are hemp muslin as well.

Each panel is topstitched to add a more professional touch. The appliques are hand cut, stabilized, and satin stitched in place.

This skirt is really precious in person I just can't seem to capture it in the photo.

The model wears a size 6 and it's just a big snug on *him* (I promised Eli I wouldn't show his face if he would model it for me.)
